First of all, happy new year to everyone, and here's hoping for a great start to the new decade.  Due to an extremely busy end to 2009 we have a well overdue welcome to two players.  Both players made their contest debut at the Scottish Open but have been involved with the band for a few months now.

First we have Rebekah Caldwell who has joined our front row cornets from the Fairey Band and next we have Daniel Tasker from Besses o ' th' Barn who adds to our back row cornet team.

Both players are looking forward to an eventful 2010.
